Crimean-Tatar recurve bows

Crimean Tatar recurve bows were among the traditional weapons of the Tatar people who lived in the Crimean Peninsula and the surrounding areas. These bows had a distinctive curved shape that distinguished them from other types of bows. These recurve bows were technically the most advanced bows of the time, providing high projectile speed and accuracy. This allowed Tatar archers to aim and attack effectively from a distance.
