Description
This bow was typical in late imperial times, used both by infantry and mounted archer units. It is a composite recurve, the remains of the weapon were found throughout Europe and Asia Minor. The bow is easy to draw, the poundage is approximately 42#, has a fast and accurate shot. It was made by Csaba Grózer, one of Hungary’s most respected bowmakers. The limbs and the handle are covered with fawn brown deer skin. Black leather lacing on the inner side of the limbs. The ends are made of walnut wood, strengthened with horn. The bandaging material is natural hemp lace.
