Manchurian recurve bows

The Manchurian recurve bows were used among the people living in the region of Manchuria, which encompasses parts of present-day northeastern China, southeastern Russia, and North Korea.
(1115-1234) in China. The Jurchen, who established the Jin Dynasty, were known for their skill in archery and made extensive use of these bows in warfare and hunting.
During the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), the Manchus, who ruled over China, continued the tradition of using recurve bows. They regarded archery as an important cultural practice and organized archery competitions as part of their rituals and ceremonies.
